Blog101 | 12:36 PM | , ,

If you have problems to get in the top and I think it is difficult to know that would certainly not an easy task, or anyone else would be to make money. The fact is that there are only 10 places available for a page, and everybody wants to be there. The following tips will help you succeed on the road to the top:
1) Analyze your competitors’ sites. What did they do their website? Something about one page sites like Google. You should know what to to do good and do better than them. On page optimization meta descriptions. pages indexed, the number of quality backlinks, etc to analyze and more!
2) Experiment! Try an approach and how it works, try a different approach and stick with a good result.
3) There is always more you can do to make your site better. Never stop tweaking. “How can I make my site better or more traffic” must always be on your mind.
4) Always remember the goal. Whether it’s comfort, information, services, or make sure that your site around what users want to design, not for search engines.
5) Never give up. If you have any doubts in your mind, you will never be successful. You can do this, if you believe in yourself. Take all the negativity and focus your mind on your work. No excuses.

Compilation of Indexing Techniques 0

Blog101 | 2:21 PM | , ,

Step 1- Domain/Onpage
First off, try to have your keyword in your domain. Any domain with DNS will work- .com, .net, .us, .info, and even certain free domains like .co.cc or .uni.cc . Free .tk domains and the like won’t work.
Onpage, make sure you have your keywords mentioned in the title and everything. Have them bolded/underlined at least once or twice. Just do basic On-Page SEO.
Also included in this step are proper meta tags. You could use either of these two sites to generate proper META tags and put them in your <head>
http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/builder.html
http://www.addme.com/meta.htm
Then you need to add a “robots.txt” file to your root directory as well. Use this generator: http://www.mcanerin.com/en/search-engine/robots-txt.asp

Step 2- XML Sitemaps (copied from another thread, please excuse me)
Submit the sitemap of your site to the search engines.
To create the sitemap use this free tool: Sitemap Generator

Here are the places where you submit the sitemap to each
respective search engine.
Google: Webmaster Tools
Yahoo: Submit Your Site
MSN: API Moreover (Not MSN but it works)
Ask: Sitemap Submission
For the last two, just add your sitemap to the end of the
URL. For example: =http://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml
(Yes, you need to upload the sitemap to that location, in
the case of blogs it usually looks like
http://yourdomain.com/atom.xml)

Step 3- Pinging
Ping your site with http://pingler.com

Step 4- Submissions
Use the free submission tool at http://freewebsubmission.com to submit your site to some free directories.
Also try using TrafficBug at http://trafficbug.com

Step 5- RSS Feeds
If you have RSS feeds on your site (highly recommended!), submit them to these two sites:
http://feedage.com
http://feedagg.com

Step 6- Build Some Fast Backlinks
This was a great technique presented by antx16 to use whois checker type sites to build backlinks, and this just makes it easier:
http://www.seoserp.com/fast.way.get.index/

Step 7- Other Tools
You may want to also try building free backlinks at sites like http://3stepads.com
Also, Web 2.0 properties are always a great idea!

GUIDE TO GET 27K BACKLINKS USING SCRAPEBOX WITHOUT COMMENTING 7

Blog101 | 1:40 PM | , ,

Hey guys ok so, I want to share with you what I found using scrapebox, as well as explain exactly how I found it, so hopefully you can understand and do something like this yourself next time. I will explain to you exactly how I created the list, and provide the download link at the bottom of this post. So lets begin! What I will show you will essentially be a guide how to find backlinks from sites that dynamically generate links when your domain is in the url. A genre of these are statistics sites. The only tool I used for this is scrapebox
Intro: I stumbled upon a statistics site. So I used scrapebox, with a custom footprint of “site:statisticsite.com/stats/”. This scraped 1000 pages that were indexed at that site. I then used scrapebox’s PR checker, to find the most popular pages’ domains. Here is what that came up with:
7sur7.be
adobe.com
alistapart.com
apple.com
avaxhome.ws
cnet.net
drudgereport.com
ffffound.com
filehippo.com
flickr.com
friendster.com
gigazine.net
… (many more)
I now had a list of popular pages. And so I went on to the next step.
Step1: Using scrapebox, I harvested all the results for the following footprint: “-site:7sur7.be inurl:7sur7.be”, for every single one of the sites above. This resulted in over 120 K URLS.
Step2: I replaced all instances of each of the top domains with “testdomain.com”, so I changed 7sur7.be->testdomain.com, adobe.com->testdomain.com, …
Step3: I put all these new URLs into scrapebox, and removed duplicates. I was left with aroun 100K. I then ran the ‘alive checker’, which left about 80K URL’s.
Step4: I took this list, and ran scrapebox’s linkchecker for links to ‘testdomain.com’ on each of these pages. That took a while, and eventually I was left with 27k URL’s.
Step5: I then saved this list of URL’s, and replaced ‘testdomain.com’ with ‘{website}’, and saved it!
Step6: Now I created links to my domain using scrapebox’s “rapid indexer” and this list (which automatically pings these sites for you)
**I know that most of these are from groups of similar IP’s, just look through the list if it is good for you
Result? 6k Direct links, and 21k links to pages that don’t exist, on my domain! (maybe you could setup your 404 page to 301 redirect to your homepage of the domain you use this on, thus redirecting all the link juice that is sent to non-existant pages on your domain, to your domain (what do you think?)) And so there you have it, 27k backlinks all ready for you to use. Here is the list for you to download, so you don’t have to waste the time of finding it yourselves (its allot of bandwidth + time). I know I could have just shared the list, but I wanted everyone to understand how I got it. Anyways, here you go, enjoy:

How to get your domain in 15 of the top 20 search results for a given keyword? 0

Blog101 | 11:51 AM | , ,

Here’s how to get your domain in 15 of the top 20 search results for a given keyword.
First, get a domain name that is based on the keyword or search term. Even if you have to get a .info or .mobi or whatever. Let’s assume you want to rank for cream puffs. Just go buy creampuffs.info or whatever. You can find SOMETHING.
Now – this isn’t how to get your SITE listed in 15 of the top 20 SERP results but how to get your domain name listed in 75% of the first 2 or 3 pages.
  • Create a myspace profile named Yourdomain.com
  • Submit 1 article to article directories with your keyword as the title
  • Upload Videos with your url in the description to Myspace tv
  • Create an Amazon AStore named Yourdomain-com
  • Create a channel on Youtube using your keyword
  • Post a topic on related forums with the keyword in the subject line. (try something like yourdomain.com may be for sale – anyone interested?)
  • Create a Yahoo Group called Yourdomain-com
  • Create a Google group called Yourdomain-com
  • Create a Mybloglog account named yourdomain.com
  • Use a social bookmarking program like BookMarking Demon
  • Upload video to AOL video with the title yourdomain.com and your url in the description
  • Run all of these urls (not your own site) through BMD, TrackBack Spider, Blogpinger, and whatever else you can leave on while you sleep.
Thats it. I can show you examples where I have done this, and MyDomain.Com or whatever is listed in not only 75% of the first 20 serp results, but also a huge amount of the following serp pages, as well.
If you don’t believe me, take a search term or phrase with mid level competition and try it. Wait a couple weeks at most.

Googles new NOFOLLOW and how to use it 0

Blog101 | 10:48 AM | , , ,

Hi all,
as you all sure heard google changed how the nofollow works. So in the past it worked like that:
if you had 10 links on a page and 5 of them were nofollow then each of the do-follow links would get 1/5 of the pagerank of the site. So this way you could do pageranksculpting.
But google changed it all last year. So now it is like this:
if you have 10 links and 5 are nofollow then the PageRank is still devided by 10 and every one of the do-follow links gets 1/10 of the pagerank.
As Matt Cuts says the PR of the nofollow links just “evaporates” into nothing. So it makes no sense to use them. He also said that you should just let the PR flow in your site.
Well now I have 2 questions about that:
1) OK I normaly nofollowed pages like “contact us” or “privacy policy” because the are not important for search engines. Well this sucks now because I have them on every page and with the nofollow not working anymore the get a lot of pagerank from every page.
For example if you have an inner page, that only links back to the frontpage and you have 5 links sitting in the footer to pages like “contact us” then the only important link to the frontpage gets 1/6 of the PR.
What I do of course is to add the “noindex” Meta Tag to those unimportant pages like “contact us”.

Now the question: As google does not index them I think all the PR they get will be lost. Is this correct?

2) How are the links on a page counted? From the examples above I said the page has 10 links. What if 8 of the links pointed to the same page of the site.
Would this site get 8/10 of the PR or do all the 8 links count as 1 link because they point to the same page and so the PR going to this page would be 1/3?

5 SEO Tips – Get BackLinks For Free 0

Blog101 | 1:16 PM | , ,

The following Tips will help you get more search engine results for your website. They will also teach you how to get backlinks to your site. In other words get other websites linking to yours. These will raise your search engine ranking, and bring you lots of good traffic also. Here are the tips:
  1. Submit Your Site to Google. Visit google webmaster tools, login with your google account, add your site and verify it. After verifying site, it will usually take a week for google to crawl your site. Check the diagnostics section for google’s crawling results.
  2. Submit Your Site to Yahoo. Visit Yahoo to Submit Your Site. Add Your Site. Authenticate Your Site. It takes Yahoo a little longer than google to verify that you own the site, usually a day or two. After authentication it takes Yahoo another 7 days to start crawling your website.
  3. Submit Your Site to MSN. Go to MSN Webmaster. Sign in with Your MSN account. Add Your site. Upload XML file provided to you by MSN to verify your site.
  4. Add Your Website to Web Directories. This will help you get lots of backlinks. Backlinks increase your search engine ranking. Visit The Strongest Links which lists lots of web directories you can submit your site to. Read these common web directory submission mistakes. With many of the directories you have to dig down into their categories before you’ll see a “Submit URL” or “Submit Your Site” link.
  5. Get Backlinks from Similar Sites
    Step 1
    – Build List of a few keywords that you think users will search for to access your site.Step 2 – Also think of related terms and keywords that users might alternatively use when searching for your site. Step 3 – Search google for your terms or keywords. Note url’s of those sites. Visit each one of those sites. Use Firefox SEO plugin to learn more about each site. Find contact information for each site owner. You can usually find this in the contact page. If you can’t find the contact information on the page enter the website’s url in a whois site. If you can find a phone number in the whois site, it’s best to call rather than email. Calling is much more dependable.
Step 4 – To get site to link to you it’s better to get a one-way link: A link from their site to yours without your site linking back to theirs. Sometimes the only way to get a link is to pay for it. If that’s the case then try to pay for a permanent link and have them sign a contract. Most websites will give you a permanent link for $50. If you don’t or cant pay for a one-way link, then do a link exchange where both your site and theirs link to each other.
If you want to get a one way link for free from another site, here is how to do it. You must create a friendship with the webmaster. Write an introductory email, build a friendship before asking for link. Another way to do it is to contact webmaster in a very honest direct way including your link in your email. The best way is to call webmaster and talk to them in person. It’s much harder for people to say no on the phone. Let them know that you enjoy their site, value it, tell them about yourself, how you can help their site, maybe by writing content (that their site is currently missing and would be helpful).
When getting a back link, try to get a deep back link. Instead of just linking to your homepage, try to get links to deep portions of your website. This helps the search engine make other sections of your website more popular and give them a higher rank.
Also when getting a back link, try to get the webmaster to put a phrase or keyword that you want to rank for in your anchor text. Make sure to change the anchor text for different backlinks. If you don’t and Google sees that you got a 1000 backlinks with the same anchor text they might think you are spamming.

What do you wanna be on GooglePg1 with ?? what will people type into the Search Engines to find YOUR BLOG ???
Now.. title your blog whatever that term is:

Make sure you have 40/50 posts in your blog, related to BlackHat Marketing…
Get a couple backlinks (doesn’t really matter)…
NOW- we’re gonna go sign up with a few Blog Topsites such as:
blogtopsites
blogtoplist
topblogging
blogcatalog
LSBlogs
Blogdigger
MyNewBlog
TopBlogArea
DigNow

etc… FIND THEM!!
After you’ve made accounts with all of these places, you’re going to add a new blog (title it, (ex:BlackHat Marketing 101) ..) keep it the same as the blog title… and in the description, start off with:
“BlackHatMarketing 101″…etc…..
Now, after you’ve submitted your blog to ALL of these sites, you’ll have to put the little tracker on your blog somewhere… DO THAT ~!!!!
After you’re done submitting to all the directories, just wait a couple weeks, and you’ll be listed on Google’s 1st page for whatever search term you want!!!
Here’s my Google Page 1: (As you can see I have 6 listings on the 1st page):

And on the second page, mine are the:
TopBlogArea/iPhoneHacks&Mods/BlogTopList/CellPhoneForum(another post)…Listings
And on the third page , mine are the:
DigNow & BlogCatalog ….listings
Pretty crazy huh??… I get a good amount of traffic from this, and I haven’t even posted on my iPhone site in probably 2 weeks or so!!!… it’s amazing how something so simple can do something so amazing!!!

5 simple SEO tips that you should apply to your website or blog today 0

Blog101 | 12:39 PM | ,

Here are 5 simple SEO tips that you should apply to your website or blog today :
1. Optimize Title Tags
The idea behind the <title> tag is to tell your visitors what your website is about, while at the same time it should have some SE value. For example, a good homepage title would be: Keyphrase or Keywords | Website Name
Your title should also change for each page, on blogs for example: Article Name | Keyphrase | Website Name
2. Optimize <h1> Tag
You should only ever use one <h1> tag on each page, then a mix of <h2> and <h3> tags for article headings, navigation headings, article steps. <h1> is the most valuable though, and you should only use it once on each page, right near the top. The <h1> tag should contain your main keywords or keyphrase.
3. More Content = More Links
The more content you publish, the more links you’ll get. Just make sure your website gets out there, social bookmarking is a good method. If you get lots of links, Google will start to trust you more, and you’ll gain Technorati authority.
Obviously this isn’t so easy when you’ve got a static website rather than a blog, but you can add a blog to your website to get visitors more interested.
4. Offsite SEO
Offsite SEO is linking your your blog or website using your preferred anchor text – in which case you should use the keywords or keyphrase that you’re trying to target. Remember though, your link should be valuable to SE’s and your visitors. Sometimes a link with a keyphrase as the anchor text means more to the visitor than a link with your website name as the anchor text. For example, a link with the title ‘Photoshop Tutorials’ or ‘Photoshop Blog’ may mean more to a visitor than a link that says ‘PhotoshopStar.’
A great way to get more links is to write quality content, then the links should flow in (although these aren’t targeted links, so you won’t be ablet o choose what they link to you as).
5. Validate Markup
Remember to make sure your website markup validates by using the W3 Validator. Remember, readable code is good code! You should also follow guidelines such as using bold text, use headings, etc.
